ANATOMY OF THE SOUND FRAME (8 ACTS)

ACT 1. FLIGHT

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 01. FLIGHT]

Original: “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (from the opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, 1899–1900).
RE-FORM Concept: A high-speed cyber-breakthrough that opens the album.
Deconstruction History:
“Flight of the Bumblebee” is the ultimate synonym for extreme performance speed. Rimsky-Korsakov created a unique interval structure that demands flawless chromatic sliding from the musician. This track has always been a challenge for virtuosos. Two re-formed versions were recorded for this album: a high-speed one and a balanced one. It is the balanced version that made it into the official release. In it, the live, organic speed of the original is locked into a cold, heavy industrial vice, allowing the listener to hear the flawless geometry of the sound.

Anatomical Fact:

The famous virtuoso violinist David Garrett entered the Guinness World Records by performing “Flight of the Bumblebee” in 1 minute and 5.26 seconds.
The main album version bets on crushing heaviness and control. However, for those who want to experience extreme g-forces, the fast version (Versione veloce) is featured as an exclusive bonus track on the official website, bandb.band.

ACT 2. WITCHES’ SABBATH

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 02. WITCHES’ SABBATH]

Original: “Night on Bald Mountain” by Modest Mussorgsky (1867).
RE-FORM Concept: A final, monumental chord that closes the archival chapter of “The Witching Hour” and transforms it into a harsh, ritualistic industrial rave.
Deconstruction History:
Mussorgsky created one of the most ominous and uncompromising pieces in the history of Russian music. The composer himself called it “St. John’s Night on Bald Mountain.” Its tonal shifts, wild, terrifying brass accents, and chaotic structure were so far ahead of their time that contemporaries considered the music “incorrect” and barbaric. RE-FORM takes this primal, witch-like chaos, strips away the layers of the classical orchestra, and builds a strict bionic pulsation around it. It is no longer a chaotic dance—it is a techno-ritual under total sonic control.

Anatomical Fact:

During Mussorgsky’s lifetime, the piece was never performed publicly. After the author’s death, his close friend Rimsky-Korsakov completely re-orchestrated “Night,” considering the original “too harsh.”
In RE-FORM, we restore the track’s pristine, rugged harshness, elevating it to the level of industrial sound.

ACT 3. PASSION OF FIRE

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 03. PASSION OF FIRE]

Original: “Jota Aragonesa” by Mikhail Glinka (1845).
RE-FORM Concept: A roaring digital flame. Spanish expression melted down into an aggressive, predatory fluidity and the enveloping lines of a dark mirage.
Deconstruction History:
Mikhail Glinka wrote this brilliant overture under the impression of his travels in Spain. It is based on the “jota”—a traditional, rapid dance of passion built on sharp castanet clicks and guitar strumming. In our re-formation, academic pathos gives way to a furious, uncompromising drive. An authentic classical Spanish guitar, processed through dense, dirty distortion, is embedded right into the center of the track. The live flame of the original does not die out; instead, it turns into a roaring sonic lava rushing through industrial rhythms.

Anatomical Fact:

Glinka personally learned the steps of the jota from Spanish street dancers to precisely capture their wild, non-academic energy on paper.
In RE-FORM, this energy is translated into the language of dark, alluring electronics.

ACT 4. TIME

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 04. TIME]

Original: “Winter” Concerto from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi (1725).
RE-FORM Concept: A cyclical, mathematically precise industrial rhythm that dominates every single second.
Deconstruction History:
Vivaldi’s “Winter” is the pinnacle of Baroque drama. The violin passages of the original mimic a piercing, chilling wind, chattering teeth from the cold, and running on slippery ice. We took this icy anxiety and wrapped it into a flawless digital spiral. The canonical violin dives now sound like encrypted radio signals crashing against the blank wall of a cyclical bass. Time freezes, turning into a sonic framework.

Anatomical Fact:

Vivaldi himself wrote companion sonnets for each concerto. For “Winter,” the lines read: “To run on ice, slipping and falling…”
In the RE-FORM version, falling is forbidden—here reigns absolute, rigid control over every step.

ACT 5. DANCE OF THE WITCH

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 05. DANCE OF THE WITCH]

Original: “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from the ballet The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1892).
RE-FORM Concept: A radical couture upgrade. Fragile crystal magic melted down into a dark, alluring ballet on titanium joints.
Deconstruction History:
Tchaikovsky’s original track is firmly associated with fairytales, childhood, and childlike fragility. This is the strongest counterpoint of the album. We conducted a complete anatomical deconstruction of this innocence. The crystal drops of the celesta are replaced with a cold, scratching electronic sound, backed by predatory, heavy basslines. The sugar plum turns to steel. The fairy becomes a witch.

Anatomical Fact:

Tchaikovsky secretly brought the celesta instrument from Paris to Russia specifically for this track to surprise the audience with a previously unheard “angelic” sound.
In RE-FORM, this instrument sounds not angelic, but terrifyingly futuristic.

ACT 6. THE INCANTATION

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 06. THE INCANTATION]

Original: “Toccata and Fugue in D minor” by Johann Sebastian Bach (1703–1707).
RE-FORM Concept: A monumental digital incantation where the organ merges with the bionic armor of Chamber Industrial.
Deconstruction History:
Bach’s “Toccata” is the pinnacle of polyphonic thought. Traditionally, people are used to hearing it in a monumental but static organ performance. In the RE-FORM version, we completely shatter this stereotype. There is not a single organ sound here. The entire track relies on the extreme speed of violin passages and heavy, roaring guitar distortion. Bach’s flawless mathematics are transformed into an aggressive, soaring neoclassical metal manifesto, locked in the vice of futuristic electronics. These are strings turned into bare, high-voltage wires.

Anatomical Fact:

To this day, musicologists debate whether this masterpiece was actually written by Bach, as the structure is too bold and non-standard for his era.
Our answer is simple: this DNA code belongs to eternity, and today we have rewritten it under the laws of a new era.

ACT 7. HOMEWARD

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 07. HOMEWARD]

Original: Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor (“Für Elise”) by Ludwig van Beethoven (1810).
RE-FORM Concept: Rebirth and a return to the roots through destruction. The refined sadness of the original turns into a heavy, marching stride.
Deconstruction History:
The melody of “Für Elise” has suffered from popularity more than any other in history: it has been turned into banal piano ringtones, elevator music, and children’s toys. We conducted a harsh, uncompromising disinfection of this masterpiece. In this re-formation, the keyboards are completely erased. Beethoven’s signature DNA code is transferred to aggressive string passages and dense guitar distortion. The familiar theme now sounds against a backdrop of heavy industrial hits and punchy bass. This is a path home through the ashes of the old world—without sentimentality or false softness.

Anatomical Fact:

The piece was not published during Beethoven’s lifetime. The sheet music was found only 40 years after his death. The scholar Nohl illegibly read the dedication on the manuscript: instead of “Für Elise,” it most likely said “To Therese.”
In RE-FORM, the recipient no longer matters. This track is dedicated to returning to one’s own power.

ACT 8. DAWN

[RE-FORM: DNA CODE // 08. DAWN]

Original:Requiem (Lacrimosa / Dies Irae) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1791).
RE-FORM Concept: The starting point of a new era. The final tragic lament of the old world, purified by cold futurism.
Deconstruction History:
The Requiem is a funeral mass, Mozart’s last, unfinished, and most mystical work. The Lacrimosa (“Mournful”) section is filled with ultimate human sorrow and pleading. Naming the deconstruction of the Requiem “Dawn” is our main manifesto of rebirth. We take this great lament, strip away its weakness, and replace it with cold, majestic futuristic armor. The death of the old becomes the dawn of a new, dominant universe.

Anatomical Fact:

Mozart managed to write only the first 8 bars of the Lacrimosa before he passed away. The piece was completed by his students.
In RE-FORM, we complete this finale in the language of future technologies, officially crowning the project’s new era.
