Paradox is a massive-sounding instrumental epic at the crossroads of ethno-industrial and symphonic power metal. The main paradox of the track lies within its name and structure: meditative, deep philosophy clashes with an uncompromising, heavy rock drive. The track functions as a seamless musical narrative without words, where solo instruments take on the role of vocalists.
Acoustics & Violin: The oud/saz and violin establish an authentic flavor. The use of characteristic modes (the Hijaz mode) and melismatics adds a cinematic and mystical quality to the sound.
Guitar Section: Thick, distorted guitars provide an aggressive rhythmic foundation with technical galloping riffs. The solo part is built on a perfect balance between speed and melody.
Rhythm Section: A powerful drum kit with heavy use of the double bass pedal drives the track forward, capturing the signature velocity of classic power metal.
